Familiar Clouds

'Familiar Clouds'

by
Kristopher J. Evans

I just needed to write something because tonight I’m up stuck between Insomnia’s clutch while reaching for familiar clouds, once touched allow my dreams to yell out loud.

Thoughts expressed and words pressed upon illuminated screens, paint scenes and tell stories that help me discover mysteries inside me and what they mean.

I hope putting these expressed words together best served with some cleverness helps me impress Insomnia enough to be released from his rough hands and escape to my planned destination above.

Dreams delayed, ready to be displayed, my cast of characters waiting to greet me once made, possibly in a new setting or a familiar one, a raining afternoon or I may feel the Sun, ready to run once put down and see those familiar clouds.
